	Memorial unveiled at Heath Lane Cemetary The Memorial has now been officially unveiled- find out more.
	Memorial now in place! The Memorial is now in place and awaits the finishing touches before being officially unveiled- find out more.
	Blue Plaque now in place The Blue Plaque identifying and commemorating the West Bromwich Union Workhouse Boardroom of the Gaurdians of the Poor is now in place - see photographs.
	The Memorial is complete and has started it's journey to West Bromwich We have just heard that the Memorial has at last arrived in the country and is at the monumental masons in Bloxwich awaiting installation in Heath Lane Cemetery, West Bromwich. The proposed date for installation is 30th May (this year) with an official dedication and unveiling to take place probably sometime in June - see the finished memorial.
	The Memorial is complete and has started it's journey to West Bromwich The stonemasons have completed their work and the memorial has now begun its journey to West Bromwich, travelling by sea - see the finished memorial.
	Date for Monument's arrival The Monument is still on line and is scheduled to arrive in England hopefully some time in February 2008. The dedication is being planned with our president Prof Carl Chinn and the local vicar of All Saints Church. More news soon...!
	Memorial Statue Production is in progress The Memorial statue is being produced in India. You can view the sculptor's clay model by following the link - Sculptor's Clay Model.
	Memorial Design is Approved! The Memorial design has at last been approved and has been sent to the stonemasons in India to be carved. We are expecting this to take between three and four months to be completed and shipped back to this country. The Memorial site has been pegged out in Heath Lane Cemetery almost opposite the War Memorial and the base should be installed by September to await the arrival of the Monument.
	Memorial Leaps First Hurdle The memorial is to be considered by Sandwell Cabinet on 23rd February.
	Memorial Awaits approval The Monument was finally submitted for approval at the cemeteries committee meeting on Friday 16th February. Future events will depend on the result of this meeting.
